How Registration and Payments work
CYMC uses a registration-first, pay-later format.
Step 1: Register
Register to start your process.
Step 2: Pay the deposit
A $90 non-refundable deposit is required at registration to hold your spot.
- The deposit covers administrative costs.
- The deposit is applied toward the total program tuition.
- Once the deposit is paid, a discount code will be issued for web payments, and $90 will be automatically deducted from your remaining balance.
- Deposits are paid through the Deposit tab on the Make a Payment page.
Payment methods
Payment options and instructions are listed on the Make a Payment page.

DepositsPayment plans and paying remaining balances with a credit card can be arranged by emailing
registrar@cymc.caE-transfer (preferred)
Please include clear and detailed notes, including:
- Particpant's name
- Program name
- What the payment is for (deposit, instalment, remaining balance)
Important Deadlines
- All program fees must be paid in full at least four (4) weeks before the program start date
- Late registrations (within four weeks of the program start date) require payment in full, unless special requirements have been approved in advance
- Registrations with outstanding balances after the payment deadline may be subject to cancellation
Audition-based programs
Some CYMC programs require an audition.
If a program requires an audition:
- Students should wait to receive audition results before making any tuition payments
- Payment plans and remaining fees should only be arranged once acceptance has been confirmed
- If waiting on Audition feedback, please respond promptly, within two weeks, to make your deposit and secure your seat or it will be passed to the next student
Flexible payment plans
After registering (and, where applicable, receiving audition confirmation), tuition may be paid in smaller instalments rather than in one lump sum.
This flexibility helps ensure students are not deterred from participating due to the upfront cost.
Arrangements can be made via e-transfer or credit card.
