I enjoyed working in groups (chamber music). * My instructor was fantastic, very helpful. * It was my first time at CYMC, and I liked the atmosphere, the challenges, and I had a lot of fun.* I loved how just in two weeks, many things were covered and we were exposed to many different styles of music and other forms of art as well. It gave me new ways to approach my technique. Teachers were inspiring - new ideas for approaching my practice.

CYMC was a wonderful experience, and very influential in my decision to pursue music as a career. The combination of orchestra, chamber music and solo lessons was crucial for the development of young, serious musicians. Many of the friends I made there I still keep in touch with on a regular basis and usually get the opportunity to collaborate with them in future projects. The summers I spent at CYMC were some of the most memorable and wonderful moments of my life.
