The CYMC Junior Choir Camp offers a fun-filled week of musical and social activities in a safe and happy environment. Children ages 8 to 12 explore different types of choral styles together as they learn about singing techniques, reading music, and good musical habits in a supportive and inspirational setting.
A joyful singer, voice teacher, and conductor, Carol Anne received her Bachelor of Music from UBC in 1995. She was the founding director of the Nova Voce Choral Society which she directed from 1995-2008. For the past decade, she has been the owner/operator of “Kindermusik with Carol Anne”, focusing her time and energy on providing the best possible start in music for children ages newborn to seven. She has been a featured soloist with the Capilano College Music Program, CYMC, Timbre!, NICS, and with many churches. She has cherished choral memories as part of the award-winning Capilano College Singers under the direction of Lars Kaario, the UBC Choral Union under the direction of the late Diane Loomer, the University Singers with James Fankhauser, and has recorded two CD’s with the Vancouver Cantata Singers (also under the direction of James Fankhauser).
